Inspired by the beauty of freshly sprung spring, this tapestry design was created over many years observing the changing seasons. Spring has always been my favourite time of year, with all the plants bursting into life and the insects waking up.
The tapestry features 18 hand-drawn plants and insects, including dandelion, primrose, vetch, stitchwort, bluebells, jewel beetle, ladybirds and garden tiger moth among many more. Local to the UK and oh so beautiful and colourful, I hope I have done them justice in this artwork!
Use your tapestry in many ways! It can be hung on the wall as an artwork, used as a blanket or throw (it’s a lovely weight, not too light and not too heavy), it looks great as a bedspread or can even be used (gently) as a picnic blanket.
Due to the woven nature of the tapestry, care must be taken not to snag the individual threads. Please note the colours may look slightly different to how they appear on a screen. Expertly woven by a small company in North Carolina.

Made of cotton and recycled cotton threads.
